Victoria the talented

Victoria is so talented and we are so proud of her craftiness. For Christmas this year she made two fishing nets in freshman shop. After one semester, the shop teacher, asked her to take advanced woods her Sophomore year and then to spend the next two years as his aide. We have to agree with Mr. Davis that Victoria is awesome.

You must remember the famous deer mounts for the 2009 Utah Taxidermy show. Victoria won two 1st place ribbons and in her haste stuck the ribbons on the mounts with Hubba Bubba. It is that time of year again. This time she did a full deer mount. I cannot tell you the hours she put into this project but I would guess at least 60 hours in a taxidermy shop. She loved every minute of it. She competed against adults and won a 2nd place ribbon. Her judge was the 2009 world taxidermy champion. He took the time to go over her mount and her judging sheet to teach her advanced critique and technique. Her she is at the 2010 Utah Taxidermy Show at the Sportsman's Expo.
