I finally got my school computer and I am very happy. Mostly because I am no longer limited to the self-imposed "family-friendly" blocking on our home computer. It has really sticks for me because I am very strict with those darn kids but I personally want to participate in social networking and to shop for swimming suits. So with my new computer, I will hopefully be filling you in on the life and times of the famed Van Quill family.
So let me tell you about our dear Reggie. Good ole' Reg tore his dog version of ACL while pursuing ducks on the Provo River. He had surgery yesterday for create a new ligament out of something like fishing line - hopefully 20 lb. The veterinary clinic shaved his entire hip and cut open his leg about nine inches. They even drilled a hole in his tibia to attach the fishing line. Reggie had to spend the night at the vet but was able to come home today. He is seriously high on doggie Percocet which is good because if he knew how stupid he looked with half his butt shaved he would be embarrassed. His recovery is so slow that it will be three months before he can walk upstairs to sleep with Mitchell.
