Many of you know that I have attempted to tackle to art (or luck in my case) of fly fishing. I have all the gear, the expensive gadgets, and the perfect head for hats. Despite all of this stuff, I still don't catch that many fish. Steve has been wonderfully supportive and continues to encourage me. In fact, Steve has encouraged me to join online fishing forums to find a fishing buddy.
Three weeks ago, I joined the girls out at the Merkley farm in Duchesne. I took my gear because it makes me feel that all the money on fishing gear is getting used. It was a beautiful day and I thought I would fish the twilight hours on the Duchesne River. I found a beautiful spot just off River Road. The water was too shallow but I didn't take my waders so I stayed close to the road. After an hour of beautiful but unproductive casts, I hiked back to the car. I immediately noticed the card on the windshield. "Ah man", I thought. I got a hate letter by some local land owner for trespassing on their river frontage. I hurried to the car to pack up the gear and reluctantly read the note. It was a business card and when I turned it over, this is what I saw.
Well as you can see, I didn't catch a fish; I caught a man. Julie thought it was so funny that she kept the business card to give to Steve. What I just want to know is why Steve has kept it next to the TV for the last few weeks. Do you really think he wants me to have Duane as a fishing buddy?
